A lapis lazuli ram talisman from the ancient Western Asiatic culture.

1st millennium AD.

In good condition. It has been cleaned partly , but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand forming, cutting, carving, grinding . Traces of use and age on its surface.

Purchased mid 90's in Strasbourg by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
