The brooch is clearly hallmarked on the underside (see images)

The brooch has 19 Garnets as follows.

The Central Garnet is approx. 7mm x 5mm giving an approx carat weight of 1ct.
It is surrounded by 8 garnets each approx. 3mm diameter, each being 0.13cts for a total of 1.04cts.

Along the side stems there are 10 garnets (5 each side). 8 of the garnets are approx 2mm-3mm diameter for an approx. total carat weight of 1.92cts

The total carat weight is therefore approx. 3.96cts. Please note the carat weight are approximate as it is very difficult to determine the exact carat weight when the stones are mounted.

The total weight is 8.08 grams.

A very beautiful brooch, clearly hallmarked and in excellent condition (please see all images for a clear condition report).
