An original and rare Royal Albert Crown China tea service comprising six cups, saucers and side plates, two bowls and two jugs. This set was manufactured by Thomas C. Wild & Sons between 1927 and 1935 and bears a classic Art Deco design with a combination of transfer printing and hand painting. The set is in good condition with some minor wear to the pattern in places, a small star shaped mark on the inside of one cup and one cup handle has been reattached, but overall fine quality, rare, delicate and very appealing.
The cups stand 6.7cm high, the saucers 14.3cm in diameter and the plates 18cm in diameter, the jugs stand 10.2cm high and the bowls 6.6cm x 12.5cm (h x w).
