The Arctura Design Musem was designed by the internationally renowned watch designer Jorg Hysek and launched as a strategic model for globally marketing Kinetic. Arctura series was introduced at 1997,appertaining in numerous promotional advertisements at the time. The Automatic Power Generator in the movement generates electrical energy to power the watch, utilising the movement of the arm while wearing the watch, and stores in the ESU. The current power reserve of the ESU is indicated by the second hand at the press of a button. When the energy stored in the ESU is reduced to a very low level, the second hand start moving in two-seconds intervals to indicate that the ESU needs recharging by swinging the watch front side to side.
