A rock crystal Avalokiteshvara bead talisman from the ancient Khmer culture, 12-13th century, Angkor period.
In good condition. Traces of use and age on its surface. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving and grinding. It has been cleaned in a tumbler, so its surface is shiny and smooth. The holes are ancient, hand-made, irregular.
Purchased in Phnom Penh/1994 by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
