Sammenleggbar skjerm - Lær - Louis XV stil

Decorative Louis XV style folding screen decorated with a bustling hunting scene, painted on leather, topped with a thick layer of varnish, mounted with gilt brass appliqués. Made around 1900.

Depicted are various hunters in red uniforms, some of them on horseback, some of them on foot blowing a horn or attending the pack of dogs that accompanies them.

The back of the screen is made from cardboard adorned with a luxurious fabric, has various pockets to insert letters.

Dimensions: 66 x 76 cm.

Overall in fairly good condition, the varnish shows some cracks, most of the hinge pins are missing, the leather is slightly bulged in some places, on the back a part of the cardboard is ripped.
