A vintage Japanese bronze vase in a unique flattened shape. The patinated green surface is elegantly adorned with gold flower reliefs. attributed to Murata Hiroshi Unsigned.
It's in very good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks.
Murata Hiroshi (b1936) is a metal artist, known for his high artistic skills and very fine execution of his works. In 1958, he received prestigious Nitten Award. He was also a judge for Nitten exhibition. In 1964, he won first prize at the Japan Contemporary Arts and Crafts Exhibition
