A silver Christening set, a knife and fork, engraved on the blade with the name of the recipient in period typefaces, 'Presented to Jane Grave Hoyle by her affectionate Godmother'. The hallmark is for Birmingham 1840 and these were made by Joseph Willmore. The knife is 18.5cm (7.5") long and the fork 16.5cm (6.5"), together they weigh 70 grams. The silver work is elaborate and detailed and the hallmarks clear.
