This beautiful ladies are "Printemps" and "L'été" from the "Vitraux Mucha collection mirrors". One of the many allegorical representations by Alphonse Mucha in the Art Nouveau style. Two antique glass mirrors decorated in stained glass style (vitrail style) and golden frames. No reserve price!
Decorative vintage wall mirrors belonging to "The Seasons" series drawn by Alphonse Mucha in the year 1897. In this series, Mucha combined fresh yet delicate colours with exuberant floral motifs. Each woman is set within natural surroundings which reflects her mood. The whole is then enclosed in an elaborate ornamental frame reminiscent of a Gothic window. Golden frames.
Origin: France (lot acquired from a private collection in Montpellier).
Measures: 58 x 29 x 2 cm. each mirror.
Total weight: 3 kg. approx.
Mirrors and frames are in very good condition, with minimal signs of use and aging. The items you will receive are the ones that has been photographed.
