With an estate with a rare heritage installed on the most beautiful hillsides of the mythical hill of the Hermitage, Marc Sorrel has preserved since 1984 the exceptional terroir with large pebble floors with the wisdom and humility of the great winemakers of soul.
Today at the head of 4 hectares, the Domaine Marc Sorrel has built its reputation thanks to its fabulous cuvées d'Hermitage produced in red and white. Paying tribute to the tradition of the crus of the northern Rhone Valley, Marc Sorrel cultivates Syrah, Roussanne and Marsanne, the traditional grape varieties of the area with respect and passion.
Superbly exposed and guaranteeing optimal maturity at the Syrah, the places called "Le Méal" and "les Greffieux" constitute the DNA of the blend of the emblematic red vintage Le Gréal. Coming from a prestigious limestone terroir, the "Rocoules" hillside is at the origin of a white Hermitage produced in very limited quantities, with a racy and powerful style unfolding an incredible finesse.
