From the magnificent 2001 vintage in Rioja, the originality of this wine is surprising. Instead of being an intensely fruity, generous but richly structured wine (which is what generally characterizes 2001), it is a little more earthy and reticent.
The Ayala family, vintage after vintage, selects the best grapes from the 23 hectares of its vineyards in Haro, for its aging, reserves and great reserves, the result of experience transmitted from generation to generation.

Varieties: Tempranillo 95%, Maxuelo 5%. American Oak and the necessary rest in the bottle. Aging: The 24-month stay in barrels gives it a unique and elegant character. The appearance of slight precipitates is possible due to its natural stabilization, so we recommend decanting it.
