This doll was made by Maruhei Ohki Doll Shop, a Kyoto shop that was founded 250 years ago.
It is believed to have been made between the end of the Edo period and the beginning of the 20th century.

There are almost no scratches. The condition is very good. One arrow is missing. Please check the photo.

These dolls depict a samurai and his attendants on the battlefield. These wonderful dolls were created by Maruhei Ohki Doll Shop, which was founded in the Edo period. Their expressions are beautiful, and they are decorated with bows and arrows and flags giving them a brave appearance. In Japan, these dolls are displayed at festivals in May to celebrate the growth of boys. This will be a large delivery, including the box.
