Tidlig Gandhara Bronse Statue av en Avalokiteshvara - 140 mm

A bronze statue of an Avalokiteshvara from ancient, early Gandhara culture, 2-5th century of first millennium A.D.
In good condition. It has been cleaned, but the nice antique patina is preserved. There are still reddish sandy deposits in the deeper lying parts of its surface.

Purchased mid 90's in London by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market .
