Depiction of Saint mary who gives a scapular to a future member of the third order of the carmelites.
Saint mary is surrounded by a carmelite father and sister in agreenm wrath and 17 angels in rennaisance style.
Excellent piece of craftmanship made after an example from the 16th century from Limoges.
Made around 1870. Signed with the initials of the maker in the back: S.D.C.
Small damage in the enamel of the water container.
Dimensions: 16 x 9 x 3 cm.
