Do you love sparkling wine and want to learn more?
Have you always wanted to walk in the footsteps of Dom Pérignon?
Then come to us and make your own bottle of sparkling wine, which you can, of course, take home with you.

The Wilhelmshof Wine & Sparkling Wine Estate has been producing sparkling wines for 50 years using the traditional methode champenoise, or classic bottle fermentation, from their own grapes. Learn about the 50+ steps involved, from filling to disgorging (removing the yeast), with winemaker Thorsten Ochocki.

To start, you'll taste the base wines for sparkling wine and the resulting sparkling wine. Learn about the differences from grape harvest to wine and sparkling wine production. Why are the grapes pressed differently for sparkling wine base than for regular wine?

With winemaker Thorsten Ochocki, you will tour the filling hall, the riddling cellar, and the historical equipment used for sparkling wine production. Naturally, you’ll also see the disgorging machine and how it works.

The best part: you’ll make your own bottle of sparkling wine.
You’ll taste almost a dozen base wines and sparkling wines, but don’t worry, the tasting is conducted professionally in small sips. At each station, there will be small snacks, and to warm you up at the end, a potato soup with beef.
However, you should treat yourself to a hearty breakfast beforehand. We will provide small yeast pastries, baguette, and water for palate cleansing during the live seminar.
