The Edition Series confirms that very much isn’t the case, with its willingness to look beyond the traditional cask types favoured by the distillery. Each of the six expressions is crafted from a unique combination of casks selected to push the boundaries of what whisky drinkers have come to expect from Macallan.
Edition No1 has been crafted using eight different styles of European and American oak casks.
