Gamle sentralasiatiske Naturlig båndagat Perle Talisman anheng - 39 mm

A natural banded bead talisman pectoral from the ancient Central Asian culture.

Second Millennium AD or older.

In good condition. It has been cleaned partly, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, grinding. The holes are ancient, hand-made,irregular, but probably over drilled with modern techniques to make the piece wearable when ancient holes obstructed. Traces of use and age on its surface.

Purchased mid 90's in London by Dr. Zelnik on the local Montebello art market from M.B. antique dealer, previously part of an old British private collection.
