A very impressive Islamic Ottoman/Bedouin Style silver-metal ring. It presents a raised round bezel with a green hardstone intaglio showing a quadruped with long curved horns, possibly a ram or an ibex. The intaglio decoration served as a stamp or a seal, illustrating a protective symbol or the heraldry of the owner. The raised bezel is richly decorated with a beautiful floral motif on the bottom and a geometric band around the stone. The ring band is also decorated with wave-like pattern. Good solid condition, wearable. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
