Medium oil on canvas Date : mid 19th Century circa 1860 Overall measurements including the period frame are 91 cm 77 cm x 7 cm and the painting measuring 61.5 cm x 45 cm A highly decorative and colourful 19th century oil on canvas painting depicting a young lady in period costume wearing floral hat . The painting is from the mid 19 th century circa 1860 . Condition report : The painting is in good restored condition and has been lined at some stage probably when restoration was completed . The original canvas has been lined approximately 50 years ago . There is fine craquelure throughout . The beautiful 19th century French gilt frame is offered as a gift . The painting is mounted within the frame behind museum non - reflective glass and it is ready to hang on the wall . Please note : The frame that is included in the pictures above has been added to the artwork by a third party/the seller, as such it’s not an integral part of the object. The frame is being provided to you at no additional costs so that when your artwork arrives at your house you can immediately display it on your wall. As such any damages to the frame itself, that do not affect the integrity of the artwork, cannot be accepted as a valid reason to open a claim or request a cancellation.
