An etched agate bead talisman from the ancient Indus Valley cultures. Second Millennium AD or older. In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient,hand cutting, carving, etching and grinding.The holes are ancient,hand-made,irregular. Traces of use and age on its surface. Purchased mid 90's in Paris by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market from M.D. antique dealer, previously part of an old French private collection.
