X-33 was designed for the possibility of man landing on the red planet. It took five years of collaborative development between OMEGA and the world’s major space agencies, as well as the USN “Blue Angels” and the USAF “Thunderbirds”. Firstly, there is an analogue inclusion for the hour, minute and seconds display, and then a ring-shaped digital display for a second full set of functions. As it was created with the assistance of American and European astronauts, some of those functions include the elapsed time for a mission duration of up to 1000 days, as well as strong lighting thanks to an electroluminescent foil. Omega launched the x-33 at the houston space centre with nasa astronauts and russian cosmonauts in attendance.
