2015 Aglianico Beneventano IGT is an interesting label proposed by the Campania winery Masseria Frattasi, an important production pearl that offers organic terroir wines. Quoted by the ancient Greek playwright Plato the Comedian, this red has a name that derives from the Greek word smoked. A name that is not accidental, given that the wine is obtained by drying the grapes which gives it a smoky flavour. The result of the vinification of pure Aglianico, this label comes from the fruits of the vines grown on a soil rich in clay and limestone, planted at a height ranging from 500 meters to 600 meters above sea level. After a meticulous manual harvest carried out in the second ten days of November, the grapes are dried in an outdoor fruit cellar. Subsequently, a red winemaking process follows. Finally, Kapnios Benevento Aglianico IGT is first aged in French oak barriques for 18 months, then matures in the bottle for a long period. The final product is a label with a full and balanced sip. A warm, juicy red with a satisfying finish.

2011 Sabbie di sopra il bosco, Nanni Copè:
The winery was born in Castel Campagnano, a small village in the upper Caserta area overlooking the Volturno river at 215 meters above sea level, where the vineyards on the steep slopes alternate with patches of woodland not far from the sea and the soil is characterized by a marked sandiness.
Nanni Copè made his debut in 2007, producing only the Sabbie di Sopra il Bosco label.
Already from the second release the Sabbie di Sopra il Bosco label boasts the excellence obtained by all the guides in Italy, a sign of its professionalism.
Nanni Copé represents one of the most successful innovations of recent years in Italy, thanks to him he created his own revolution for the great red wines of the South.

2004 Falerno del Massico, Villa Matilde:
The most famous wine in literature and history, Falerno, a deep red colour, comes from Aglianico and Piedirosso grapes harvested after careful selection in the hilly vineyards of the San Castrese area, on the slopes of the Roccamonfina volcano, in the province of Caserta. It has an intense and complex aroma of violet, black cherry, currant, cherry, blackberry, raspberry, coffee and dark chocolate; full, elegant and harmonious flavour.
