This guitar comes from an extremely rare edition and has a Jag-Style solid body, but the three single coils are reminiscent of a Strat. The guitar has a scale of almost 648 mm. An outstanding feature is the body covered with Sparkling material, Sandner used various such materials. It is still absolutely clean and tight on this Isana, it does not detach itself like on many other guitars of the era covered with Pearloid or Tolex. The body is made of linden. The black lacquered neck is probably made of maple, it has a rosewood fingerboard with 20 slim frets plus zero fret. The fretboard radius of 12 "is significantly flatter than that of contemporary electric guitars from other Europeans, or Fender. It is a well-preserved Isana electric guitar that is technically in perfect condition. Please note; the guitar is currently strung left handed ! For its age the guitar is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear (see photos). The guitar can be dated to the mid 1960s (1965) It's very resonant, perfectly playable and in almost perfect condition for the age. These guitars have been built in extremely small batches, by hand and are not comparible with the lower end Kliras or Höfner Coloramas at the time. The vinyl cover is still in absolutely fine condition. The guitar features a 12" radius that makes it a joy to play. This is a rare opportunity for a collector of rare, german instruments.
