First Growth. Premier Cru Classe in 1855. Sometimes refered to as 'Ancien Cru du Roy' as displayed on older labels.

Expert tasting note: "This has a fabulous nose with marzipan, mango & liquid honey aromas. The wine is very sweet, has an oily viscosity with intense pineapple, vanilla and clean new oak flavours bursting onto the palate. The wine’s acidity is fresh & the fruit goes on to display touches of grapefruit & sweet orange. The alcohol is balanced, allowing the finish to be light & fresh, long & floral." - 4/12 DCAMW

The 2011 vintage is a great success for the Sauternes region. As for Château Suduiraut, it is one of the Châteaux emblematic of the appellation, it has managed to make the most of this vintage, with an exceptional terroir. We find in this beautiful bottle of sweet Bordeaux wine, the alliance of flowers and candied fruit. On the palate there is a lot of freshness and richness. It is a wine of great complexity, a very beautiful success, which we remember.
