Very rare 19th century SNAKE brooch in Silver (not marked but chemically tested), Turquoise, Pearls and Garnets.
*** A rare antique Victorian brooch depicting a fabulous serpent coiled in an infinity symbol. A lovely array of natural turquoise stones line the top of the piece in double rows and pearl and garnet center and head and lead to garnet red eyes.

*** Snake jewelry was popular in the Victorian era and symbolized a wonderful combination of love, loyalty and friendship, their coiled shape representing an infinite and eternal bond.

*** RARE collector's item.

*** Any color distortion is due to the camera.
