The artisans of the Maluku Islands, Indonesia began constructing model boats and ships from clove buds in the 1700s and continued to do so until the early 1900s. These works of art, known as Moluccan Clove Ships, have become scarce in the world. This particularly intricate example of their work has tree tall masts, European style sails, and sailors onboard. It is a unique and wondrous work of art.

CONDITION
Good. Two small damages between the first, second and thrid mast conectors (see picture). Comes with wooden stand and custom made box.
