Limbach, Thuringia - Art Deco - Lady with Red Hat (22 cm) - ca 1930 - Figur - Porselen
Magnificent Art Deco figurine of a “Lady with Red Hat”, rare Limbach Porzellan Manufaktur creation, in excellent condition.
It depicts a blonde lady standing on a red oversized ball, holding a red veil, wearing an assorted red hat, in gracious posture.
Hand painted in bright red with gorgeous green lines on shoes and dress, Limbach figurine are among the most hard to collect as the factory operate only a short limited period of time in producing them.
Limbach Porzellanfabrik was founded in 1772 by Gotthelf Greiner (mainly known for discovering German porcelain recipe) and as late as 1937 was advertising bathing beauty figurines.
It is in excellent condition, marked with the green “three leaves clover” mark on the back of the base, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
