Perhaps the very series Volvo's earned their name from, the tanks, the indestructible Swedish cars, which modern Volvo's still hitch a ride on. "Swedish solidity" is actually more appropriate. This white 940 2.3 automatic is actually the candidate you are looking for, if you are in the market for a 940. It is really bang on, and also super nice to look at in terms of condition and colouring. No rust to be seen and still very nice in its paintwork. The blue interior also really comes out super under the white paint, kind of like a living room almost so warm and soft with fabric and carpet everywhere you look. The upholstery is still in excellent condition as are the plastic parts of the interior. Just the speedometer that occasionally hesitates about the speed to be driven, this will need to be checked, the counter box is not quite right (a spare is supplied). Technically, it is also a neat car; the engine runs well and the automatic gearbox shifts fine, a wonderfully quiet driving car. Looking for a nice 940? Then this is your golden opportunity.
