New edition of the collection of the Flemish humanist and classical scholar Justus Lipsius’s complete works; it is conform to the Moretus edition of 1614, that was composed by separate editions of the different works, originally printed at different times (Vander Haeghen, L406), but shows some differences and additions with respect to the 1613 edition printed in Lyon. Both the title page of the first volume and the printer’s mark of volumes two to four are by Rubens, engraved by Galleus. “Nouvelle édition des oeuvres complètes. Elle est conforme au recueil factice mis dans le commerce par les Moretus, en 1614, ... Elle diffère sensiblement de celle de Lyon, 1613, in-fol. Les différentes parties se suivent dans un autre ordre. ...
