This is because we use materials such as tubes, tape, box cutters, printers, paper, bubble wrap, and paper wrap to carefully package each artwork. In addition to packaging, we also handle storage, coordinate shipping arrangements, and personally drop off the parcels. After shipping, we actively track each delivery and stay in contact with collectors if any issues arise. If a package is returned, we reship it free of charge. These additional efforts are why our shipping cost reflects a multiplier of 1.5. I would like to add that the shipments are in fact insured. I hope this helps :)
