The most representative Champagne of the Maison Perrier Jouet is the "Belle Epoque", an iconic and unmistakable label with a divinely elegant, rich and soft taste. Upon visual examination it has a bright light gold colour, with abundant and very fine grain and foam. The nose unfolds over a wide variety of aromas, gently and delicately moving towards floral, citrus, apple and peach notes, alternating with the sweet and classic fragrances of pastry, bread making and almond. On the palate it is light, creamy and of excellent drinkability and finesse, directed towards a soft, graceful and harmonious taste, finished by a refreshing acidity and a pleasant citrus and savory hint on the finish. When we mention "Belle Epoque", we are talking about a great Champagne, not only for its excellent evolutionary potential, but for its already fantastic qualities at a young age. The composition of the cuvée by the Chef de Cave takes place among all the most suitable crus in Champagne, from Ambonnay, to Mesnil Sur Oger to Ay and many others. The “Belle Epoque” carries out malolactic fermentation and ages for about 6 years on the yeasts. Finally, after disgorgement, the sugar dosage is added, equal to 9 g/L.
