This product was born in 1976, when, after a year of very high temperatures, it was doubted whether the cuvée production could meet the house's standards.
They decided to take a risk and create a new combination, and thanks to the savoir-faire of their teachers they created a unique and "rare" piece that now continues to be produced exclusively in those years where the forces of nature give us atypical years.
Rare 2006 is a blend of 8 crus including Oger, Villers Marmery and Avize for the Chardonnay, and Pinot Verzy for the Pinot Noir. A vintage synonymous with wealth and generosity matured for more than 7 years in the cellars of the house.
TASTING NOTE
Crystalline golden color with delicate effervescence.
Aromas of mango and kiwi, hazelnuts and fig. A touch of iodine increases the flawless nose. Mild spices reflect the depth of the wine. Voluptuous delicacy with notes of
meringue.
