Excellent quality Japanese traditional hand carved wooden Noh mask - Magojirou孫次郎, finely carved with meticulous details.
The original mask was created by Magojiro, a tayu of the Kongoza theater in the late Muromachi period, based on the image of his wife who died at a young age. Compared to the Komen, it is slimmer and more sensual. There are two hair strands from the center of the forehead and three or four hair strands from the temples. It is used in plays such as "Matsukaze" and "Izutsu."
With beautiful Noh mask bag.
Dimensions: 21 x 13.7 x 7 cm
Weight: 141 grams
