This is a nice and rare USAAF WW2 aircraft recognition booklet for identification of USAAF aircraft, as used by pilots, airgunners, etc! It is full of beautiful plates of the various aircraft, etc, and is dated september 1942 on the cover. This "Restricted" manual was used to train / allow soldiers during WWII to quickly identify aircraft by sight so as to distinguish friend from foe and to recognize the exact type of plane. Each aircraft are described and pictured from every angle, including silhouettes. The book also contains comprehensive silhouette charts.
