This pair of pewter candlesticks exemplifies the fluid, organic design characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement. Attributed to Hugo Leven, a leading designer of the Jugendstil era, these candlesticks showcase the elegant, nature-inspired motifs that were hallmarks of Leven’s work.

Originally produced by J.P. Kayser Sohn, Cologne.
These were produced shortly after. They are stamped '95%' on the base, indicating high tin content for quality pewter. Additional marking under the candle insertion point, reading "om yerr" or "om yern” and “zinn”.
