This elegant Japanese tea caddy, or "natsume," is a handcrafted piece titled Ju-rin natsume, made from high-quality zelkova wood (keyaki). The caddy features a sophisticated black exterior adorned with intricate red motifs that form a harmonious design reminiscent of chrysanthemum flowers and seasonal foliage. Its textured surface showcases an expertly applied circular pattern, adding depth and visual interest.
