A beautiful vintage table clock, Wuba Warmink Netherlands, circa mid-20th century. The metal dial is indicated, Tempus Fugit. The case is made entirely of wood, finished with walnut veneer. With gilded handle and pine cone finials to the case, skeletonized sound windows on the sides backed with cloth, dial with roman numerals on silvered ground, blackened hands. Runs 8 days on a single wind up. It has two hammers on the top of the unit that will strike out the hours at the top of the hour. Then it strikes once for the half hour. The movement is in good condition and works well. The clock comes with a key.
Wuba Warmink clock production was founded in the Netherlands in 1929 and ceased in the second half of the 20th century.
Condition: In good condition. The case has some scratches and dents and a small piece of fretwork is missing on the left side window (see photos)
Dimensions: Height 25 cm, Width 18.50 cm, Depth 14.50 cm Weight 1.87 Kg
The clock will be carefully packaged and sent by registered post with a track and trace number. It can also be collected from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
