Cardoso Pereira - Portuguese Guitarra / Fado gitaar - - Muziekinstrumenten - Portugal (Zonder Minimumprijs)

The brand is: Cardoso Pereira from Lisboa (Portugal)
Presented here is an original Portuguese guitarra also
called the Fado guitar. I'm not that familiar with these
typical kind of instruments and at the beginning my
intention was to learn to play it as I already played guitar.

Still something different from that as it has another
tuning to begin with. This is a double paired four string
instrument that can be tuned as a mandolin or even
the 4 highest strings of a guitar.

It is equipped with a radiused fingerboard and a bone
removable bridge. It has been entirely refinished after
having repaired two cracks: one in the front (lower right)
and one in the back. The neck is perfectly straight and
the tuners simply work the way they should. The head
is still in its' original form (it is often damaged and/or
not complete.) This Fado guitar is immediately playable
with hardly any fret wear. Comes in a wooden case.
