Marc Hispard was an important French fashion photographer.
Since his early career, he maintained a long collaboration with the magazine ELLE in France. In 1963 he worked in London for the "Queen" Magazine and the VOGUE (British edition) , in Rome for the VOGUE (Italian edition) and for Mademoiselle in New-York.
In 1986, he was one of the 3 photographers who started ELLE U.S. edition.
In 1988 he was the photographer for the famous "Sports Illustrated" Swimsuit issue and from 1989 onwards he contributed to the U.S., Italian, and French editions of the VOGUE and the French magazine "Glamour".
He participated in advertising campaigns for major global companies such as L'Oreal, Revlon, Dior, Victoria Secret, Biotherm, and Estee Lauder. He worked for commercials for Macy'S and Burdines and was the concept designer and director for the launch of the Givenchy perfume Organza.
