Nice wakizashi or suriage naginata naoshi from the muromachi or azuchi period in a very good condition with a hamon pattern still well visible with beautiful waters difficult to appreciate without natural light. The sword is or suriage, that means that it was probably cut probably during the edo period from a longer katana to adapt it to the style of combat of that later period, since the battles in the great battlefields were reduced and the battles in cities or narrower areas that made complicated the handling of a very long sword.
