•This Black Okina is also known as Sahbasō 三番叟 or Kokushiki-jō 黒式尉.
•Sanbasō is a dance performed on the noh theatre stage, a part of Shikisanban (式三番; three-piece rituals), also known as Okina (翁; elderly person).
•These dance of ritual performances do not have any story.


•Material: Wood; Horse hair

•Age: Produced in Heisei Era (平成年代)

•Country of origin: Japan

•Condition: Used, excellent condition. This is an aged noh mask. There are some stains / wear-off on mask due to aging. Please refer to the photos for details.
