Here's a rare and beautiful terracotta statue depicting the Princess "Salome" by famed Italian artist and sculptor Adolfo Cipriani. Most likely made between 1900-1930 the statue depicts Salome leaning against a wall with a regal lion resting on it.
The sculpture is made of terracotta and is painted in various colours and shows signs of wear/age with possible signs of old repairs? (Please see photos for further information). There is a brass plaque with "Salome par Cipriani" embossed on it fixed to the front of the statue as well as the numbers "393" on the back as can be seen in the photos.
The sculptures dimensions are: H: 50cm, W: 25cm, D: 18cm.
