R.A.F Bubble sextant Mark IXA, AM ref 6B/218 housed in a bakelite case mounted with the plaque and painted WG2 SQDN. Winding up mechanism seems to be working but the sextant not fully tested. Signs of ware and discolouration in places.
This sextant was used primarily for celestial navigation.
