Northwest Africa 7831 is a diogenite meteorite, part of the HED group believed to originate from the asteroid 4 Vesta. Characterized by its coarse-grained orthopyroxene composition, NWA 7831 provides critical insights into the early history and geological processes of its parent body. Studying this meteorite enhances our understanding of planetary formation, differentiation, and the dynamic processes that shaped the early solar system.
