Le carpe sono rappresentate in diverse pose, con dettagli meticolosi delle squame e delle pinne, che evocano un senso di movimento fluido e naturale nell'acqua.
La base e il collo del vaso sono decorati con un motivo a palmette dorate.

Questa tecnica consente di creare forme delicate e colori vivaci e la sua finissima cràclure, visibile a occhio nudo, si nota in ogni opera.
I soggetti raffigurati presentano spesso figure umane o animali, paesaggi, fiori e piante con la scelta dei colori e delle sfumature molto importante.
