This small cabinet sized specimen features sharp, well-formed, gemmy golden colored, trigonal crystals of calcite which feature eye-catching internal "phantoms" of rich red and brownish-red hues, creating a fantastic contrast of color. No matrix on the piece, so it's solid calcite, with only minimal roughness around the periphery where it was detached from the pocket wall.
