This is a set of Japanese chisels, also known as Oiire Nomi.
This set includes 7 chisels with different blade widths, perfect for detailed and precise woodworking tasks.
The set consists of the following blade widths: 1 chisel at 1 sun (approx. 30.3 mm), 2 chisels at 8 bu (approx. 24.2 mm), 2 chisels at 5 bu (approx. 15.1 mm), and 2 chisels at 3 bu (approx. 9.1 mm).
Each chisel features a durable wooden handle for a comfortable grip, ensuring ease of use over extended periods of work.
Whether you're learning the basics of woodworking or honing your skills, this set will help you master various carving and joinery tasks.

Unlike Western chisels, which are double-edged, Japanese chisels are single-edged.
Many of them are made of Japanese steel, which is popular for swords and kitchen knives.
They are characterized by their longevity if sharpened and maintained.
