Art nouveau stained glass vase by Carl Goldberg (1891-1938) from the first half of the 20th century, in perfect condition. Blown and shaped by hand. It is made of mystic purple colored satin glass, the matte surface is decorated with a silver pattern depicting tendrils and flowers. Typical Goldberg work from the Art Nouveau era, decorated with silver plating and fine drawings. Special, rare color and shape, exceptional quality from a private collection. The Carl Goldberg company was founded in Novy Bor (Haida) in 1881, producing a wide range of luxury decorative glass. The Carl Goldberg Company expanded very quickly and successfully in international markets in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, becoming one of the most important glass exporting companies in the North Bohemia region.
