This is a hanging scroll depicting monkshood and two chickens. ◯Box writing /  Front:Kida Kadou Aconite Double Chicken  Back: Yurin(Ishikawa Yurin 石河有隣) proves it ◯Kida Kadou 喜田華堂 (1802-1879) /  Born in Gifu Prefecture.  His other names are “Keisei 景静” and “Hakuju 伯寿”.  Became an official painter for the Nagoya Domain.  Died in 1879, aged 78. The signature is “華堂 Kadou”. The seals are “静 Sei” and “伯寿 Hakuju”. There are stains and dirt due to aging. This is an antique item. Please understand that it is used and shows some signs of wear. Please check the image. Roller end:​Bone.
