Svanette daybed or sofa was designed by Ingmar Relling for Ekornes and manufactured in the 1960s. It has a sleeping function while fully unfolded and also features a compartment for sheets and blankets underneath. The side table moves smoothly up and down and has a specific stopping point.' Solid teak frame combine with original, well preserved, checkered wool upholstery in brown colour gives a mid century look. P The daybed could use some TLC. The fabric is still good and original, the foam has been renewed and sitting-, or having a nap on it is really wonderful. The overall condition is good, but as the images show, the daybed has been around for quite some time. For the purists, this piece needs a bit of work to be in perfect condition again.
